Blue Valley Karate is run by Steve Stillwell, with 30 years of experience in Bushidokan Karate, Judo & Jujitsu. Steve Stillwell is also the Self Defense Instructor for the Greater KC Counsel of Girl Scouts.
Blue Valley Karate offers kids & adults traditional bushidokan style Karate, kids self defense awareness classes, women's self defense classes, Judo, Jujitsu and Kickboxing training.
The program is structured & disciplined,teaching basic karate and self defense training with emphasis on developing balance, coordination and functional self defense skills.

My son has been going to BV Karate for almost 3 years and loves it. He started at almost 5 years old in an effort to help build his self confidence before kindergarten. He has diligently worked hard through the years to earn his rank and is proud of his accomplishments. This is a true karate experience with no testing fees & black belts in a few years. If your child has self discipline (or needs help!) and works hard, this is a great place to train!
